The negativity in your life is never going to disappear but you can learn to control it and balance it. Life is all one big balancing act and you have to take the negative with the positive. It’s impossible to completely erase all the bad from your life or get rid of every bad memory. The important part is we do something for ourselves that counteracts the stress and the pain. If we constantly dwell on the bad things and never do anything to bring good into the story then we can never really change. For me, one of the best ways to combat the negative that tries to take me over is talking to God and going to church with my family. I know this won’t be everyone’s way to counteract negativity and embrace positivity and that’s what I challenge you to find. Find the thing that makes you feel like your best you.
If we continue to end our day focusing on the bad interactions throughout our day and our life then everything we’ve worked for is bound to come crashing down. It is important to take control of your emotions and learn how to balance them within yourself. It’s not going to be an easy thing to learn or something you will master in a day. But, this is one of the biggest ways to really set yourself on the path to a different life. I want you all to live your best lives and if you can’t find an escape and a way to positivity then you will become stuck in the negative mindset. So, let us all celebrate this weekend by doing something for just us. No one else, find something that makes you happier than everything else in the world and something that you do only for yourself. And thrive in it and lose yourself in the happiness that comes along with it. I promise you it will make Monday a lot easier to handle.
